Animated logo intro and outro, title animation sequence to introduce the team members of the Tattoo studio, as well as the design and animation of graphic elements to be used in social media videos of Painful Arts - Tattoo studio.
About this Project:
In this project I had the chance to collaborate with filmmaker Goran Cecavac who invited me to work on the motion design for the series of videos he produced for Painful Arts - Tattoo studio.
The goal of this project was not only to create a logo intro and outro for the videos but also a title sequence to introduce the team members of the studio. We additionally created some animated graphic elements to achieve a visually more interesting look and feel that fits the brand.
Inspired by the logo design we decided to use the diagonal line as the main element to drive all the animations.
Using this element and playing with a combination of repeaters, glitches and stop motion techniques we were able to come up with some crazy compositions that help the videos be more vivid while staying on brand. Of course without Goran's amazing video shooting and editing skills this project wouldn't be the same.
All motion design elements were designed with two formats in mind because the final videos needed to be delivered in a 16:9 and a 9:16 version to fit different social media channels like Instagram, both feed and stories, and Facebook.
